Please note that at Sacred Stillness Meditation & Mind-Body Medicine (Sacred Stillness) I can support your health through traditional and evidence-based meditation. Whilst I am a trauma-informed practitioner, I am not a trained or qualified Mental Health Practitioner. If you have a serious Mental Health Condition or history of trauma, I highly recommend that you seek the help of a qualified professional and that you use these services as a supportive adjunct modality.

Similarly, I am not a Medical Practitioner, I am not qualified to provide a diagnosis, provide medical advice or even advice regarding supplements. If you have a physical health condition, I highly recommend that you seek the help of a qualified professional and that you use our services as a supportive adjunct modality.

I am not qualified to provide a Medical Diagnosis or to make recommendations regarding any medication you may be taking, please seek the support of a trained Medical Practitioner.

In our Mind-Body Medicine sessions, I make request information regarding your physical and mental health and any medications that you may be taking for the purposes of understanding the ways in which they affect your ability to practice meditation, however, you are not obligated to provide this information.

Bookings & Cancellations

Please respect my time and the time of fellow meditators when making bookings. I understand that things change unexpectedly and I will try to accommodate flexibly wherever possible. If you need to change or cancel your booking, I appreciate you providing at least 8 hours notice, or respectfully, a cancellation fee of 100% will be deducted to cover the costs of venue hire etc.

If, for whatever reason, meditation classes are cancelled by Sacred Stillness, I will offer the choice of either a full refund, or the option to attend a subsequent equivalent class at no cost. You may also choose to upgrade to a 1:1 meditation session, either virtual or face-to-face at an agreed time.

Please note that I require a minimum attendance of at least two people for the meditation classes (3 for Pain Management Workshops). If there are less than the minimum attendance booked at 3pm on the day of the class, the class will be cancelled and you will be informed via email or phone and will received a refund as per Point 2. above.

Class Attendance

Please endeavour to arrive early to avoid interrupting other practitioners.

I will provide emergency contact details and your rights and responsibilities as a meditator within the members page of the website, it is recommended that you read and understand these documents.

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched off in class.

Wear comfortable clothing. Chairs are provided for seated meditation, if you require specialty meditation seats such as cushions or yoga mats, do please bring along to the class.

Please advise if you have difficulty with stairs.

Please avoid wearing strong scents to the meditation class.

Where possible, avoid eating a heavy meal prior to the class to avoid discomfort during breathwork practices.

Privacy and Personal Information

I collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to me. I will take action to ensure that your personal information is kept secure, and you have a right to access that information upon request. I will ensure that I have informed consent when I collect and store your information and your Privacy is kept in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

The information that is collected via this website includes: name, address, email address, phone number, prior meditation history, meditation desires and preference and whether you have any access or ability issues that I may need to consider with either the venue or the class (such as stairs, posture etc.).

If you sign up for a 1:1 Mind-Body Medicine session, the information that I collect may be of a more personal nature. I will endeavour to provide forms ahead of the sessions so that you are aware of the information collected, and I will endeavour to ensure that the information is stored in a secure manner. You are not obligated to provide any information that you are not comfortable providing.
